This Sunday at Hollywood Park will be my first Autocross experience. I give
a full report Monday. I don't think I'll be breaking ANY records as a matter
of fact I'm pretty sure I'll suck. But, I won't for long if I keep going. My
hope is that it gets under my skin and I will end up making a
"purpose-built" 1600 for these events.
This Sunday, I'll be driving my bone-stock 70 2000 with the 195/60/14 eagle
HP's. I know these aren't "State of the Art" by any means, but, they are
what I got. Dennis tells me to fill them to 40psi to keep from rolling them
off the rims. Any other suggestions beside the usual "keep the rubber side
down" ones? Anyone want to watch me make a fool of myself is more than
welcome. Bring a Video camera and collect evidence of my traffic cone
slaughter.
