If the car has the original Frame, the Vin will also be stamped on it just 
forward of the carbs and below where the washer bag/bottle sits. It is very 
lightly stamped and paint/crud could keep you from reading it. Also, on the 
70s, there is a vin plate on the dash where it meets the windhshield.
