Yikes! And this reminds me of a story. Back when I lived in LA I was in
Autobooks in Burbank, and had just picked up a book: Japanese Exotic
Cars, and was in line to pay for it. Behind me I heard "Japanese exotic
cars!? I didn't know there was such a thing!" I looked behind me, and
then up, to see Jay Leno. Not wanting to act like a rube and just blurt
out "You're Jay Leno!", I told him I had a Datsun Roadster and the book
had some nice pictures of a roadster the same year as mine. He said
"Just kiddin' those are great little cars" A celebrity sighting "In the
wild".
The reason i thought of this was the car pictured in this book is a
1970 1600 owned by the Nissan Motor Corp. Perhaps they've forgotten
about it.
