heater controls

Ok, I give up. I looked thru the sections of the parts manual that I thought
would have a parts bearkdown on the heater and vent controls and couldn't
find any diagrams. Got some pictures before I took it apart, but not enough
of them. Should I look in the rear axle section? The intake manifold?
Knowing parts manuals, it will likely be in the most unlikely place.
