Take this for what it's worth, but I don't think your black wire is attached to a "good" ground. I believe the tach is grounding through your light wire until the lights are on, then the lights are using the tach lead for a ground. Disconnect the black wire and attach it to another known good ground. Hope this helps Bill Kenyon SRL311 KA |
