Well, the cool off didn't work... I just got inside after firing up
the car. I had my hand on Alternator the whole time... its charging
like a champ, but after about 5 minutes, I could barely keep my hand on
there. The belt isn't too tight, so that's not the case... wondering
if I should wire it a different way now? Perhaps doing EXACTLY what Tom
had written earlier? Another strange thing was the fact that I did
the pull the neg cable to test the alternator the "field" way... the car
ran, but it was kinda sputtering when applied gas... battery back in the
loop, didn't have that problem?? The battery is fully charged, since I
left it on a trickle 2 amp charge for the past few hours... maybe that
thing is supposed to run kinda hot? I worry because it's almost
untouchable and so close to fuel... Well, tomorrow is another day!
