I knew the little things would take the longest.
I'm reinstalling the timing chain cover on an R16. I have this large, thin
washer thingie with a keyway to fit over the crankshaft and a 1/8" lip
around the outside edge. I think it's called the oil thrower. I know the lip
faces outward, away from the engine. The thing I don't know is does it go
inside the timing chain cover or outside? Don't want to have to take it off
again...wouldn't be prudent.
