Greetings from the land of the burning forests,

I noticed this from Mike Kerr:
the reason for the idle increase when you are stopped in trafic is the
accreactor cable jacket grows in length when it heats up, to solve this
leave about 3/16 " slack in the accelorator cable .

The throttle on my SUs revs too high once the car gets warmed up. This
happens at stop lights & between shifts. It kicks down to 800 rpms real
easy,
but this is getting old, can I resolve this by leaving a little slack on
the accelerator cable?

BTW the SUs are only a year old.

TIA...Robert - 67.5 1600 - Albuquerque (We actually got some rain over the
weekend)
