Even more important than it's feel or appearance, is that IT STAYS ON! While, once again, doing some of my "Spirited Driving" (or complete lunacy how ever you wish to describe my behavior), My shift knob came off it's splines during a high Rev 2nd to 3rd shift! Wow! the confusion and over-revving was not a nice experience (and people wonder why I'm always working on my car). A good two part epoxy has corrected this hazard.
