Has anyone every rebuilt an amp gauge? I recently had a amp gauge in a '67 act as a fuse... Took the sucker apart and it seems that if one were to find out what kind of wire was used, it would be easy enough to repair it? Another thought that has crossed my mind is using the guts out of a 60 amp "El-Cheapo" aftermarket gauge and putting in the original case??? Anyone done this? If anyone has any comments or suggestions, please let me know!! Eric WyCROC |
