HellO All,
Well I seem to of out clevered myself.. I managed to hook up
a 'ground' wire and short circuit my starter... If you look at the starter
solinoid there are two nuts and a tab. One of the nuts has the hot wire
from the batt and two other wires from the harness and one wire goes
to the tab. Now what the heck is this other nut for?? I looked at the
wiring diagram and I swear it looks like that othere nut MUST be a ground...
Well at least I am getting better at hooking up grounds.. I must of
shorted the batt through this 'ground' about seven times and it still held up!!?
I went to attach my ground to one of the two bolts holding the
starter to the trans... Hey I only have one bolt?!?!? My lower bolt seems to
be missing?? Can someone please tell me what size my missing 68 U-20
starter bolt is?!!? I don't want to have to remove the upper one to find a
match.
Arent they different lengths??
Help!?!! I have to pick Irene up at the airport thursday night?!?!
