Fred,

I love the way the small Healys look.  There is a dealership north of
Chicago that carries many European sport cars.  I would always stop there
as I was coming into town.  One time when I was in Chicago they had a
small Healy in stock and I asked to take it for a spin.  The car was in
beautiful condition. 

I was now able to drive the car of my dreams.  Emotionally I was happy and
sad at the same time.  For years I had wanted one of these cars, but
actually driving the car was very disappointing.  My feeling was that
there was little connection to the road. They are much heavier than a
roadster and drive that way.  

On the collectable side you can always see in the paper adds for people
that will buy anything British.  The attraction has nothing to do with
perfomance or reliability.
