I'm told by Calspeed and others that you can work a clothes hanger wire
either through the license plate mount hole (hard), or through a hole in
the trunk floor (easy). Bend a small hook on the end of the wire to catch
the latch to open the trunk lid.
I guess revealing this info is okay. I'd rather not have someone drilling
holes in my rear panel! (Although I've had two locks punched out by
thieves.)

I need help (not that kind of help) with my Roadster. It seems like
overnight the key will not open my trunk. The key is original as are all
the locks - all matching numbers. How can I open my trunk so I can get the
lock to a locksmith. I have done this in the past by drilling a small hole
next to the lock on the right side and inserting a scratch awl to press the
latch open. I do not want to do this on this Roadster. Any ideas??
