Valve adjustment question

Hi,

 I have a question:

I am helping a friend do a valve (rocker arm) adjustment and head torque
'66 1600.

What is the procedure to adjust the rocker arms. (What pattern and feeler
guage setting)?

We will be re-torquing the head first. What is the pattern and torque
setting you recommend?

My friend is an original owner of a '66 1600.

Can you help with my questions.
