The “NISSAN Revival Plan” Back Up Campaign
We, the DATSUN Roadster SP/SR International Club (Fairlady SP310, 311,
SR311, CSP 311 users) is formed by American, Japanese, Canadian, Australian
clubs, and individual users among European countries. There, we have various
interchanges by manufacturing parts, changing parts information with each
other, maintenance, race, history, data, and by visiting to each other.
As we have relationships with you as car users, we heard you are going to
put the “NISSAN Revival Plan” into practice. So we think if we
could
cooperate in any way as a group of NISSAN car users. As we formerly
conducted a survey among club members around the world, we got to know that
many owners of Fairlady SP/SR and CSP, possess a NISSAN car as a first car.
Not only that, but in American and Australian clubs, we hold a once in an
year event which is known as the ALL NISSAN Meeting, and everybody are fans
of NISSAN cars.
In our club, we would like to appeal the excellence of NISSAN cars to people
as we hope it could be any kind of help of the “NISSAN Revival
Plan”. At
the same time, we are willing to support the reconstruction of your company
that produced the cars we love.
Still, though 25 years have passed since production has been stopped, about
30% of the Fairlady SP/SR parts were supplied. (Mainly parts around the
drivetrain and the engine.) As NISSAN car users, we really know that the
supplying situation is going to be more severe. But we really wish and are
convinced that you will overcome the difficulty and, would supply parts for
us like until now.
And, if you are going to put any kind of SP/SR materials or parts into order
please advise us in advance.
Finally, addition to the high engine technique Renault realized be Formula 1
races, we expect the revival of your high technique, creativeness, and the
attractive design of NISSAN cars, as well as the success of Mr. Carlos
Ghosn, all of the workers of NISSAN, and the “NISSAN Revival
Plan”.
