Each squadron in the Naval Air has a rigger shop. These people take care of
unimportant things like, oxygen systems, ejection
seats, parachutes and all of the flight gear. They all must be able to repair
flight gear so they have several heavy duty sewing
machines in the shop. You should see the work these guys can do with a roll of
Brown Naval Aviation flight coat leather! No wimps
here.
I've been looking in the local paper for a used heavy duty sewing machine. As
hard to find as hens teeth.
