I get my roadster list fix in digest form which leads to some
interesting 'neighbor posts'; I don't know about you but I'd rather not
remove the steering column and brake lines to prevent roadster theft.
On the second reading it made more sense.

Also remove: the emergency brake cable; metal brake line from the rear
brakes to the bias unit on the firewall, and steering column (can't
remember what else.
Lift a little bit to see if there are any other connections you forgot
to remove before giving it the final yank and hip, hip horray!
If the body is very rusted leave the doors on and try to bolt
strenghtening rods across the door openings to keep the body from
bending.
