I used a standard engine hoist, (cherry picker). It did a very nice job. I
used a chain bolted to the outer sear belt holes. It seemed to be balanced at
that point. Cost was about $190 at costco. It folds up and then you can use it
for other heavy things around the shop besides automotive. Disadvantage, it is
big and you have to find a place to store it when not in use.
