rest of you running? I'm not that up on oils, but with the limited use (I
run it every other weekend) and the colder weather of the mid-west winters,
I chose a lighter weight oil to get quicker oiling on start-up. What
approaches have the rest of you taken?

Nathan,
I have been running 10W40 in my 1600 for several years. I started out running
20W50 becaused when I got it I thought the engine was worn out (turned out to
be bad carbs). Since the engine was actually pretty tight, I switched to the
lighter weight. It worked fine for me in New Mexico and haven't had any
trouble getting it to start since moving to Maine, even on 10 degree days.
