Re: rubber body pads- foam is the answer

1/4" foam works great,
BUT make SURE it's closed-cell high density foam.  Pay extra for it.
        The open-cell stuff is worse than the old 'horsehair'.  Glue it in
place, and you'll be squeek-free well into the next millenium.
