rechroming parts

List,
I am sure some of you have had parts rechromed.  What has been the cost
of  the parts, such as vent window frames, windshield frames or other
trim.  Do you recomend new pieces (if they are available) or replate.
One of the windshield frames I have is ok and the other is pitted.
Where would you recommend chrome or cadmium plating be done.  Hopefully
in the northwest; idaho, washington, or oregon.  I guess I could ship
further if needed
