Eric,
Thanks for the kind words!

The answer to the dual exhaust is the PO had a custom header made
with two collectors one for each side.

One thing Eric didn't mention is that the unrestored car has been under
tarps for about 5 years. Rust has started to form were the tarps
made contact with the body work. In the future, I will not you use
plastic tarps to cover a car. They allow water to get trapped and
can cause rusting. I compared the car with the pictures I took when I
received it there was little rust on it five years ago.

Eric didn't mention that are road trip included a stop at Farrugut State
Park. This site I have picked out for a future Datsun get together.
I have spoken with the 510 again editor Tiel Hicks and he seemed
interested in helping me. The pic nick area has 4 horse shoe pits,
two volleyball courts, covered pick nick area with barbeques,
swimming, and even a 18 hole Frisbee golf course. There is plenty
of camping along the lake. There is even a submarine base close by.
The lake is over 1200' deep in spots excellent for testing sonar.

Anyone interested in coming to an event in August contact me
so I can see if it is worth it to plan one.
