Wow,
That's sad. It doesn't "look" that bad- until you realize that even
the lower edge of the door frame's rusted thru! It looks like it lived
on the coast. Surprisingly, there's something (maybe even metal?) in
front of the rear wheel... wonder what the inside of the frame looks
like? This is a car that only a Brit would save... <grin> The British
car mags always feature someone who's rebuilt an MGB that looks this
bad... but then, repair panels (hell, even whole shells) are easy to
come by for MGB's.
This car is a candidate for a body swap- it's got all the trim and bits
that are hard to come by. It looks like someone cared for it. Add
someone else's structurally-sound but stripped 'parts car' and you've
got a 2-year project!
