The easiest way to tell the two years apart is by determining whether or not
yours has side marker lights. 68's had NO side markers while the 69 had
round lights on the rear quarter and tear-drop shaped ones on the front
fenders. Also the rear license plate light is noticeably different. The
68's is recessed into the rear bumper while the 69's were mounted on the
rear valance.
