I reckon 8000 miles is pretty good for a set of plugs in a 2000.
Time to change them
At our Nationals here in June 99% of the cars were using NGK plugs.
Most people run the BP6ES. I can't remember, but the NGK BP6ES 11 is
different to the standard BP6ES.
