Everyone's invited to the TDROC meet in New Braunfels this Saturday. We'll
meet at the Schumann's house about 10:00, trail up to Canyon Lake and then
to Wimberly for lunch. Back to the Schumann's and then home. I'll e-mail a
map if you need one, or call for more information. The address and phone
number are below.

By the way, Marc, I got my Vol 4, No. 15 this week. In fact, I got two of
them. I'm doubly satisfied. I'll give the second one back if you need to
send it to a dissatisfied customer, or I'll send it to them direct. Send me
a name and address, and maybe a photo of the customer.
Speaking of unsafe Mustangs, I remember owning a '66 390 GTA Fairlane with
a trunk floor gas tank. With the drum brakes and bias-ply tires of the era,
that gas tank was one of the least of my worries. A more immediate worry,
for me, is the way our roadster seats and seat belts are mounted. A
collision along certain lines of force could rip seat and belt from a 30
year old floor and send the driver and seat out onto the roadway. That is a
far more likely event than turning the car over on its top. That's why I
never drive in any convertible without a full face helmet and a six point
harness.
