Yep you're right they are of a real car. I called my contact at FM to
get some more specific info on the images in the ads and when the model
is expected to ship out. (Both questions that have been bouncing around
on the lists lately) On the photos; they had to get the images for the
ad so far in advance of the actual model being ready, that they had to
use shots of a real car. Future ads will feature photos of the model
itself (they are working on those right now). As for a delivery date;
people who have a model on order can expect to see it sometime in
mid-October. The models are in production right now. FM will be sending
me some photos of the model itself here soon, so that I can post them on
our website. That way people can see what an excellent job they have
done on these. The precision model program at FM is really something,
their attention to detail and accuracy is a bit overwhelming. In fact
that is one of the reasons for the mid-October delivery date, they were
more concerned with getting it right than with getting it on the market
right away. They have their money back policy because they know their
model is the best thing out there. Anyway I will let the lists know when
the photos of the model are posted to our website.
