Opps... Friday Afternoon brain fade.
The carb float bowls need to be vented to atmosphere pressure,
other wise the fuel pressure would force excessive fuel into
the carb via the jet.
So Gary's comment about the car stalling when he closed off the
vents makes sense. The "garage queen" 68 2000 is hiding, and
the '67 2000 has the head off at the moment, so I wasn't able
to check this on either. Suspect it will be the same.
