flushed the car 2 years ago.
waited and it cost me a valve/head job.
here in socal it climbs in the valleys up to 100.
this summer, same as two summers ago.
temp climbing under load.
replaced rad cap, heater hoses, flushed, recored, back flushed. $175.
it was cheap insurance. the car never inches over 190.
i would just do it.
forget long term coolant theories and disposal issues. the type of
metals in the used in the engine are going to crap up the cooling
system through time.
this is with no electric fan or thermostat with a pin hole drilled for
burping. no 3 core rad.
the car runs cool and clean with a flush.
