Hey, what Chris said & more. Information about the Vintage Grand Prix at
MidOhio is available at <http://wwww.midohio.com> and for hotel / motel
information try Yahoo Yellow pages using locations Lexington, Mansfield, and
Bellville, Ohio. There is camping on the race course grounds and at a near by
state park. Let me know where you are coming in from and when and we'll see if
we can start some caravans. I live just east of Akron, Ohio and will be driving
down Saturday morning for breakfast at the track. Chris comes in from Columbus,
Ohio and we have members coming in from Maryland, New York, and Michigan ( and
hopefully more from MADROC and DRONE! ).
We will be joined at the show corrals by the Z Association of Cleveland, Ohio
( ZACO ) and the Ohio Z Club. Between the two clubs there should easily be over
30 Zs at the show Sunday. So if the roadster isn't up to the trip, drive the Z!
510s have been invited to join OROC corral. Any questions about ZACO can be
directed to the president and founder, Bonnie at BON300ZX@aol.com. If she
doesn't answer fast enough, write me, and I'll get on her case but take into
consideration that she shows her 300ZX at the National level and is preparing
for another meet in June. She also has a 280Z and a 280ZX.
As for the forming of a national club, may I formally submit the first
official vote from the great state of Ohio, hereby represented by OROC, ...
Yeah, let's do it! More local clubs are starting up and older clubs are coming
back to life as more and more roadsters are coming back to the road each year.
The time is right to enjoy the ride!
