Or call or e-mail me.
I have a good 1600 rearend that needs a home. Quiet a year ago when in my
parts car.
$75 and it's sitting in your garage, and not mine :)

Subject: rear end
I just performed a job this weekend that I've been meaning to do and
it wasn't as dirty as I thought it would be.
I changed out the old 3.9 rear end in my 1600 with one I picked up at
the junkyard out of a 510 wagon--yes, they are one in the same, ratio
and everything!
It's nice to finally have a whisper quiet differential--the old one
was a real screamer, made me not want to drive the car w/ the top
up...but who'd wanna do that anyway?
Tip: if anyone else is looking for a replacement, find the 510 station
wagon with a dry diff casing, this will indiacate that the diff had no
leaks and wasn't potentially run dry and burned up.
