Hi John,

I had the exact same problem.  I used:

1.  A standard 2-arm gear puller
2.  A penetrating oil. Liquid wrench didn't work, but I found 
this stuff at NAPA called "PB" parts buster.  It really worked, 
I was amazed.
3.  Heat, using a propane torch.  I heated the shaft at the 
joint for 10-15 minutes to break down the bond caused by rust.

After a couple of attempts, the arm finally popped loose from 
the shaft.

You can get all the oil seals & O-ring from any of the Datsun 
parts guys on this list (Ross at Sports Imports, Les at Classis, 
etc.) or your Nissan dealer.  If you need the part numbers, 
let me know and I'll e-mail them to you.
