The roadster we bought new here (Ft. Worth) in '70 did have bias ply
tires. AFAIK, that's the way Datsun shipped the cars, although I'm sure
many dealers changed them to radials. We took the car the way it came
being struggling college students at the time.
Sorry that our Hawaii correspondence wandered onto the list. I had not
openly mentioned the possible move yet because it's just a possibility
until/if the Navy offers me the job that I've applied for at Pearl
Harbor. We should know if and when in three weeks or so. If we do move
back over, we'll be taking both 510's. Anyone want to buy a practically
new Chevy pickup (great tow vehicle) or an 18 ft. flatbed trailer?
