Thanks for the responses. I checked the floats. one was dry so I cleaned
out the valve and now both fuel bowls have fuel and the floats float.
I still can't get it started. It was running a little rough before all
this. I replaced the cap, rotor, wires, plugs, and battery last summer.
Could the points go bad already?
I checked the gap and it was ok. But I didn't see any spark when I tried
to start it. I don't see how the ignition could go bad within a years
time. I took the coil wire off and put a screwdriver to it and didn't get a
spark when I tried to turn it over. Do I need to replace the coil again
after only 1 year?
Any suggestions on what to do next. Thanks, Eric 67 1600
