Stumped me on that one. I do not ever recall seeing a spec
in the book. Spring stacking (with a super high lift cam)
would be more of a problem then stem height. Might be checking
the head was done correctly, if previously reworked.

Nope. Just make sure it is FLAT on top and bottom, so the
cam doesn't bind.
