Hi Jim (and everyone else who contributed their advice) -
It was the wiper motor.
Replaced it between 11pm and 1am the night before Solvang, and had no
electrical problems whatsoever the whole weekend. Of course, I didn't
have any rain either.
But I installed my wiper squirter reservoir bag and pump on Sunday and
tested it all out and am experiencing excellent wiping performance!
So anyone got a place I could send the old motor to get refurbished? The
replacement I got is (of course) also a 30 year old motor that will go out
eventually.
thx again,
-Eric
