1) Jack stands at each corner while working under the car. Safety first
and foremost!
2) The lack of high dollar tools or even a garage. Budget, ... what
budget? It doesn't take $10,000 to enjoy a roadster.
3) Most important, the smiles of every one helping; family involvement!
For all of you that don't understand how some of us seem to spend more
money and time with our cars than you can get away with; family involvement
is the key. If I had tried to spend this much money on a toy just for me,
my wife would have stopped it long ago. As a family project, my son and
wife are part of the fun. Our roadster club here in Ohio ( OROC ) promotes
family involvement just for that reason. Each of our events begins with a
picnic for the families.
Glad to see you have everyone working on the roadster. Just make sure
they all get some seat time when it is back on the road. And speaking of
seats, just what did you have to do to mount those Mazda seats in there?
