Forgot to complete my thoughts in my response to Tom's post about using
the Ford (PH8?) oil filters. That's what I get for trying go through my
email with one eye while trying to keep the other one (sort of) on three
VERY active grandkids, ages 3 to 6. <G> Anyway -
Another advantage, other than using tyhe Ford filter number(s), is being
able to use relatively inexpensive Ford numbered remote filter adapters
and mounts. Jegs, Summitt and others offer a wide variety of individual
pieces and kits. This also makes it simpler to add an oil cooler if
you're inclined toward the go fast aspect of our hobby.
FWIW, Ron
