The 3.7 rearend will make the car faster at a given RPM, but the
trade off is that you loose low end power and acceleration. The car
will reach speed slower and be more sluggish at lower speeds. To check
the ratio of a diferential lift the wheels off the ground, mark the
pinion shaft and the wheel and see how many turns of the pinion it takes
to turn the wheel one complete turn. A 3.89 will take a little less
than four and a 4.11 a little over. Not an exact science but close
enough to determine which ratio you have.
