To Taylors question. There should be 3 wires to the coil ; one from
the ignition switch (Black & white I think) goes to the + (batt)
terminal. One wire from the coil to the dist. (black) goes to the -
(dist) terminal. The third goes to the condenser on the coil bracket
(for radio noise supression). Of course this is not counting the big
high tension lead from the tower to the dist. cap. The wire from the
coil is the only wire on the dist. again not counting the big plug
wires.
Thomas asked the cooling capacity, the book says 8L or 2.11 gallons.
Another thing I was wondering is do all 2000 solexs get 12 miles to the
gallon? My 1600 allways got 30 and the 3000 V6 will get 25, maybe I
don't need a 2000. Bill 66&67 spls in N.M.
