Hi all
I'm the proud new owner of a '69 1600 that I bought last week. I'm very
familiar with British classics (I have a 51 MG and 62 Sunbeam) but this is
my first venture into Japanese Classics (to me those words just don't sound
right together, but I'm starting to change my mind).
I do have a few quick questions. Mine is the only Datsun roadster that I've
seen in my town for years. So I don't really have anyone to ask.
1) What knob is directly below the light knob on the left of the steering
wheel? Mine is broken off.
2) What does the S/Brake knob above the fan knob do?
3) the small circular lights at the back don't turn on. Should these be on
when the headlamps are on...should they flash with the turn signals?
4) can anyone tell me how to properly fold the hood? I can't seem to get it
to lay flat.
Looking forward to hearing about this. I live in Canada and am jealous
reading about meets and runs in CA already. We got three inches of snow last
night!
