Ceramic Fuel Filter

Hello all,

On my 67.5 1600, the fuel filter cover is glass, and contains a ceramic???
filter.

I like the look of this setup, rather than the metal cover and paper filter.
A couple of questions:

- Is this the original setup?
- Does it work as good as the metal/paper setup?
- Where can I find a replacment for the ceramic filter?
