I just put a set of 85 300zx rims on my car. I have 205/50/15 Kumho's
mounted. I used 1/2" spacer on the front and 1/4" spacer on the rear. You
have to run a spacer on the front or you will need to grind out the inside
of the wheel 1/8" to fit right on the front hub. So far it looks like the
rear will not rub at all. On the front, it looks like hard cornering will
cause some rub if the car is lowered. I have not rolled the fenders yet. I
changed the studs to 12mm x 1.25 x 40mm studs. This allowed my to use the
lugnuts made for the ZX wheels.

Subject: NISMO suspension
Guys, I'm thinking of picking up some front and rear NISMO springs and
several other NISMO front suspension components. I understand that
these springs lower the car an inch or two and stiffen things up quite a
bit. Are these components for racing only and overkill on a street
roadster or will I benefit from the better handling. Will they effect
tire/rim options I can run? I'm planning on running some '85 300ZX rims
and haven't decided on tire size yet. Thanks for any words of wisdom.
