Good thought, Jeff,
and there's an access plate in the roadster's trunk (68 and later,
anyhow) so 4 screws will get you in. Might want to have a spare gauge
seal, in case the old one's dead. The sender locks in with a rotating
ring- clean it up carefully, and be ready for it to be a rusty mess...
