Hey guys, I own a '63, and have owned a '64 and '65 Fairlady, and I am a real
purest. There were less than 3200 total Fairlady's brought into the US.
Keep'em original to preserve the grandfather's of the 1600 and 2000's. I use
to autocross race with my '64 and it stopped fine. 13" wheels and all.
I just spent over $2000. on the original G motor for my single carb '63 to
keep it real. It had been bored out 40 over, so we ended up boring it,
sleeving it, and re-boring to 40 over (to keep the pistons).
When it rolls out of the shop, hopefully within the next several weeks, this
may be one of the cleanest, near original, single carb Fairlady's on the road.
Maybe I can cruise it to Shasta this year.

My "62" has had discs added and there is no problem except that the
original 13" wheels no longer fit but that is offset by better brakes.
