Sam - you may be able to take a profile of the rocker after being cut out
or from a parts car and go to place that deals with aftermarket fenders,
doors, hoods and rocker panels and find one with either the exact or real
close profile to work with.
A friend had a late 60s / early 70s Datsun (of course! ;-}}) pickup with
rocker panel itits..... I cut out a sample profile, went to a place like
above, and found a Chevy s-10 pickup rocker was virtually iddentical, minus
approx 1" at the top flat area, where the bottom of the door covers it when
closed. So I cut off the 1", rolled a lip on it and welded it in.... you
could not tell.
The other idea is to take the profile to a metal shop and have them bend
one up to match....
