Rover V-8 Engine Books

Found a couple of books on tuning the rover v-8 engine by David Hardcastle.
One is titled " Rover V-8 Engine, Vol. 8", the other appears to be an older
version of the same titled "Tuning Rover V-8 Engines: How to Get Best
Performance for Road and Competition Use, Vol. 8".  Both list for over $40US
new.  I was wondering if any of you have the book and if either or both are
worth getting.
