They are interchangeable, but the timing marks are different, so you have to cut a new groove in the balancer, or put different marks on the cover. A real plus is that the V6 timing cover uses a neoprene front seal instead of the rope seal that always seems to leak. You can use either the 215 oil pump base or the later, angled metric pump.
