Buick dizzys are only direct replacements in engines equipped with Buick oil
pumps ( at least the gears & shaft) which usually means a Buick front cover.
Buick dizzys can be modified to work on your Rover, & Mallory units are
available as modified Buick items. The difference is the oil pump drive
shaft. One is slotted, the other is a tongue, & the length may be different
also.

508 880 5448. D & D may also modify dizzya to fit Rovers, I never asked Dan
about it  810 798 2491, but he certainly can supply the Buick stuff.
