-> It is an all-aluminum case, in 3 parts. The main Box is -> extensively ribbed and measures 9' from mounting flange to rear of -> box. I don't know about a Box-with-a-capital-B, but your description sounds like a Borg/Warner T-50. The T-50 was designed for the Wankel Vega. When the GMRE was canceled the transmission carried forward to the piston engines cars. This transmission was the immediate prececessor to the T-5, which uses the same shaft spacings, etc. |
